Antique British table knife with a steel blade, sterling silver–mounted collar and ferrule, and original bone handle. Fully hallmarked silver mounts, late 19th century.

The silver band between the handle and blade is fully hallmarked, indicating British sterling silver (92.5%). This was standard practice for fine table knives of the 19th century. The blade itself is not hallmarked, whichsuggests it is steel. The warm-toned handle is bone showing natural ageing and patina consistent with late Victorian to Edwardian manufacture.
