A charming set of vintage Mason’s Ironstone espresso cups and saucers in the highly decorative Nabob pattern, a design that captures the fascination with the East that shaped English decorative arts in the 19th century. The pattern is particularly distinctive for its richly coloured florals, scrolling foliage and fine ornamental borders, giving each piece the wonderfully layered look collectors love about Mason’s.
The petite cups are beautifully proportioned for espresso or after-dinner coffee, with the floral decoration continuing around the exterior and onto the interior rim. Paired with their matching saucers, they make an especially elegant little coffee service—equally lovely for everyday use or displayed as part of a collection of Mason’s Ironstone.
The pieces have the softly aged character expected of genuine vintage tableware, with variations in colour and surface adding to their charm.
Sourced from private European collectors and antique fairs, each piece is an authentic vintage find with a story of its own.
