This charming Mason’s Ironstone teapot is decorated in the classic “Regency” pattern—a vibrant and richly detailed floral design inspired by early English chinoiserie and Oriental garden motifs. The teapot features bold peony-style blooms in cobalt blue, rose pink, sunflower yellow, and verdant green, complemented by stylized foliage and a small exotic pheasant or crane among the flowers. The colours are bright and crisp, typical of Mason’s transferware enhanced with hand-painted enamel accents.
The body has a rounded globular form with a snugly fitting domed lid and a delicately scalloped foot, adding a graceful, decorative silhouette.
