Titled "Village Scene" on its Certificate of Authenticity, this watercolour is attributed to S.E. Vinall, circa 1880. The certificate notes the artist's identity was derived from four other signed works purchased at the same time, and states the collector's belief that she was the mother of J.M. Topham Vinall, born Elizabeth Topham. The piece comes from the collection of Eugene Okarma (Atlanta, Georgia, USA / Brobury, Herefordshire, England).
